Hotel booked as part of a vacation package and we found the location very good and the hotel just fine. Our goal is to spend little time in our hotel rooms and we were successful. While in the hotel we were very happy with the staff. Our room faced an inside courtyard that was nice. Only open the window to the courtyard if you want to smell smoke. The rooms were the smallest I had ever stayed in. It's been years since I had been in Europe and it took some getting used to. Small bathrooms and bedrooms. The hotel is a bit noisy with creaking stairs and other unidentifiable noises. The morning breakfast is limited but certainly enough to start the day. The location was very good for the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. We did walk to the Louvre but it was about 5 miles. There is a small grocery store and restaurant adjacent to the hotel and within 2 to 3 blocks, another 4 to 5 places to eat. Glad we stayed, were able to experience something other than what they see in the US. Small and minimal are good descriptors for this hotel.
